Based on the latest training methods that have caused quite a stir in the USA and the UK, DiR has created an innovative interval training class that combines high-intensity cardiovascular exercise on the bike with strength training of the arms and core, whilst continuing to pedal.
After warming up and loosening the joints, the class is divided into 8 alternating blocks of cardiovascular exercise at 80-90% of your maximum heart rate and muscle-toning exercises using weights and bands at medium or moderate intensity.
Although Full Body Cycle is an intense class, it is open to anyone looking to have a good time, regardless of their level of fitness as the resistance of the bikes can be adjusted to the user’s own level. What’s more, the appropriate weights can be chosen for optimal comfort and the length of the bands can be adjusted for greater or less resistance.
